This is the full circuit of the north: Hunza, Skardu, Naran and Kaghan, and Fairy Meadows, linked along the Karakoram Highway. It is the flagship domestic trip for Pakistani travellers who want the big mountains in one run, and every package is built around your dates, your group and your budget. Tell us how long you have and we will shape the route and put together a quote.
Typical length: 7–14 days, customisable
A typical flow — every Northern Pakistan package is tailored to your dates, budget and group, so treat this as a starting point.
Meet in Islamabad, then head north along the Karakoram Highway. Depending on your route you overnight around Besham or Chilas, breaking the long drive and getting your first look at the Indus gorge.
Turn off at Raikot Bridge, transfer by jeep to Tato, then trek up to Fairy Meadows for the classic view of Nanga Parbat. There is time to walk on toward Beyal camp and the base-camp viewpoint before an overnight in the meadows.
Rejoin the KKH and drive up to Hunza, stopping at the Rakaposhi viewpoint near Nagar. Settle into Karimabad with the valley and its peaks spread out ahead of you.
Explore Baltit and Altit forts, Duikar for the wide valley panorama, and Attabad Lake with its turquoise water. If your dates and the border allow, add the run up to Khunjerab Pass on the China frontier.
Drive the dramatic road along the Indus to Skardu. Visit Shangrila (Lower Kachura) and Upper Kachura lakes, Kharpocho Fort, and, in season, take the jeep track up to the Deosai Plateau and Sheosar Lake.
Cross back toward Kaghan over the Babusar Pass when it is open, for Naran and Saif-ul-Malook Lake. From here the road runs down to Islamabad, with the exact split of nights tuned to your total trip length.
May to October, when the Babusar and Khunjerab passes and the Deosai Plateau are open and the high roads are clear of snow. July and August are peak season and the greenest; September and October bring cooler air, thinner crowds and the first autumn colour in Hunza.
Tell us your dates, budget and group size and we'll build a Northern Pakistan package around them — flights, hotels, transfers and a local plan. No fixed, one-size-fits-all price.
There is no fixed price, because every trip is built to order. The cost depends on your travel dates, how many days you take, the hotels you choose, your group size, and whether you fly any legs or drive throughout. Tell us your plan and we will put together a custom quote for you.
May to October is the window for the full circuit, when the Babusar and Khunjerab passes and the Deosai Plateau are open. July and August are the greenest and busiest; September and October are cooler and quieter with early autumn colour in Hunza. Winter trips are possible but limited, since snow closes the high passes.
The standard package covers your ground transport from Islamabad in a private vehicle, jeep transfers on the off-road sections, hotel and guesthouse stays, daily breakfast plus selected meals, a guide or tour lead, and entry tickets and permits for the forts, lakes and parks on the route. Flights, most lunches and dinners, insurance and personal expenses sit outside it, and we can add any of those on request.
Yes. We can book domestic flights such as Islamabad–Skardu to shorten the driving, subject to seat availability. This is a domestic trip so no visa is needed for Pakistani travellers, but if you are joining from abroad or need help with the paperwork for foreign guests, our team can guide you through it.
