Travel advice should show its work.

Destination pages should help with a real decision: when the season suits the trip, which part of a city is practical, how arrival works, and what a Pakistani traveller should verify before leaving. We prefer official tourism boards, airport operators, immigration authorities, embassies, ministries and the transport operator itself for facts that can be checked at source.

We distinguish enduring context from live information. An airport code or the geography of a valley belongs in a guide. A flight schedule, room price, baggage allowance, visa fee or processing time can expire quickly; it must be dated, carefully qualified, or left to the live provider response and the official authority.

We do not lengthen a page by repeating a search phrase. Additional copy must answer another planning question, explain a trade-off, show a source, or connect the reader to the next useful step.

First-person community stories must be submitted by the traveller or produced from a recorded, consented interview. Editors may correct spelling, remove repetition, clarify chronology and check factual claims, but they should not add experiences, emotions or dialogue the contributor did not provide.

A named byline links to the writer's profile where possible. If several editors researched a service guide, the honest byline is the Travel.pk Editorial Desk. We do not attach an invented name and biography to make desk research appear like field reporting.

A contributor profile can show the person's name, photograph, role, biography and independently controlled professional links. A subject label or number of articles is not presented as a licence, qualification or proof that the writer personally visited a place.

Every article displays the publication date and, when available, the last content-change date. If a separate fact-check date, reviewer or field-visit date is not stored, we do not manufacture one. The source method is visible through linked primary sources in the article and this policy.

Writing and analysis tools may help with transcription, formatting, calculations, duplication checks or accessibility. They are never treated as a witness, source or traveller. The editor who publishes a page remains responsible for its claims and attribution.

Reviews enter the publication queue as pending submissions. The current workflow records a staff decision to publish or reject, but it does not store a standardised reason or checklist for spam, abuse, personal data, relevance or rating-neutral selection. Publication is therefore not described as proof that those checks occurred, proof of purchase, or a quality endorsement.

A Booking linked badge is narrower: it appears only when the system connects the signed-in submitter to a qualifying booking with provider or fulfilment evidence. The published set is not presented as representative or balanced. We do not silently fill an empty review page with demo customers or generated testimonial copy.

Travel.pk is a travel business, not a neutral encyclopedia. We can earn revenue when a traveller books a flight, stay or service. That commercial relationship is why price, availability, fare rules, cancellation terms and the final amount shown in the current checkout must take precedence over an older article or landing-page example.

Sponsored placements or paid editorial collaborations must be labelled. A supplier logo means its inventory may appear in search; it does not mean every route is currently available or that the supplier endorsed an editorial claim.

Send the page URL, the disputed sentence and an authoritative source to legal@travel.pk. Booking-specific problems should go through the Help Center so private information is not mixed into an editorial correction.

We prioritise errors that could affect money, documents, health, religious travel or a traveller's ability to board. Minor spelling and formatting changes may be made without a note; material factual corrections should be acknowledged on the page.
