Hunza sits high in Gilgit-Baltistan on the Karakoram Highway, ringed by peaks like Rakaposhi and Ladyfinger. A Travel.pk Hunza package runs on your own dates and pace — the KKH drive up or a flight to Gilgit, nights in Karimabad, and days at Attabad Lake, the Passu Cones and the old forts. Every trip is built around your group size and budget, so tell us your plan and we'll put together a quote.
Typical length: 5–8 days, customisable
A typical flow — every Hunza Valley package is tailored to your dates, budget and group, so treat this as a starting point.
Leave Islamabad and drive north along the KKH, following the Indus past Besham and toward Chilas, with an overnight en route. If you'd rather fly, an Islamabad-Gilgit flight skips this leg and puts you in Hunza the same afternoon.
Continue up past the Nanga Parbat viewpoint at Raikot and through Gilgit into Hunza, reaching Karimabad by evening to settle in with Rakaposhi in view.
Walk the Karimabad bazaar, tour Baltit and Altit forts, and head up to Duikar for the wide view over the valley and its peaks at sunset.
Drive up to Attabad Lake for a boat ride, then continue through Gojal (Upper Hunza) to the Passu Cones, Passu Glacier and the Hussaini suspension bridge.
A full day up to Khunjerab Pass at the China border — open roughly May to November — through Khunjerab National Park and back down to Hunza for the night.
Start the return down the KKH toward Islamabad, about two days by road, or transfer to Gilgit for your flight back.
April to October. Late March and April bring the cherry and apricot blossom; May to October keeps the KKH and Khunjerab Pass open with warm, clear days; late September and October turn the poplars gold. Winters are cold and snow can close the higher roads.
Tell us your dates, budget and group size and we'll build a Hunza Valley package around them — flights, hotels, transfers and a local plan. No fixed, one-size-fits-all price.
There's no single fixed price. It depends on your travel dates, whether you drive up the KKH or fly Islamabad-Gilgit, the hotels you pick, your group size and how many days you take. Tell us your plan and Travel.pk will put together a custom quote.
April to October works best. Go late March to April for the cherry and apricot blossom, summer for the greenest valley and an open Khunjerab Pass, or late September to October for golden autumn colour. Winter is cold and snow can close the higher roads.
The standard build covers your travel up (flights or private KKH transport), hotels in Karimabad, daily breakfast with some dinners, a private vehicle and driver, a local guide, fort and Attabad boating tickets, and all transfers. We adjust every part of it to what you want.
Yes. We book your Islamabad-Gilgit flights, or the full KKH road transport, as part of the package. Hunza is domestic, so Pakistani travellers need no visa; if you're joining from abroad we can help with your Pakistan visa as well.
