Treat each leg as its own contract
A bus, train and flight can look like one route while remaining separate tickets. If the first operator runs late, the next may not rebook you. Leave time for traffic, terminal changes and luggage, and keep every passenger name and ticket number available offline.
Train tickets
Pakistan Railways says e-tickets are assigned to the named passenger. Check the train number, date, berth or seat and name before travel.
Road conditions
Check the National Highways and Motorway Police advisory before an intercity journey; its public road-information helpline is 130.
Self-connections
Build a buffer you can afford to lose. Separate operators generally do not share responsibility for a missed onward leg.
