Agent Agreement

The terms that govern participation in the Travel.pk travel-agent programme. Please read them carefully before applying — accepting them is a condition of becoming a verified agent.

Parties and Acceptance

This Agent Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into between you (the "Agent") and Travel.pk, a service operated by TechAbout Private Limited ("Travel.pk", "we", "us"). By submitting an agent application and checking the acceptance box, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

This Agreement applies in addition to our Terms of Service and Refund & Cancellation Policy. Where this Agreement conflicts with those general terms in relation to the agent programme, this Agreement prevails.

Eligibility and KYC Verification

Becoming a verified agent requires that you complete our Know Your Customer (KYC) verification. Until every requirement below is met and approved by our team, your account remains a pending application and cannot make agent bookings.

Accurate agency / business details, including a valid business address
A valid government-issued identity document (CNIC front and back, or passport) and, where applicable, business registration and proof of address
A verified email address and phone number
A funded prepaid wallet meeting the minimum security deposit (see below)

We review each submission and may approve, request further information, or reject an application at our discretion. You must keep your identity and business documents current, and promptly notify us of any material change. Submitting false, forged, or misleading information is grounds for immediate termination.

Prepaid Wallet and Ticket Purchasing

Prepaid model

The agent programme operates on a prepaid basis. You maintain a prepaid wallet balance, and all agent bookings — flights, stays and services — are paid for from that balance at the time of booking. We do not extend credit: a booking cannot be issued unless your wallet holds sufficient cleared funds to cover it.

Funding and security deposit

You fund your wallet through the top-up methods we make available. Verification requires that your wallet meets a minimum security deposit, which must remain funded while your account is active. Wallet funds are held for the purpose of purchasing travel on behalf of your customers and are applied to bookings you initiate.

Pricing to your customers

You are responsible for any fare or price you quote or charge your own customers, and for honouring it. The amount debited from your wallet is the amount payable to Travel.pk; any margin you add for your customer is a matter between you and them.

Commission on Markup

For eligible confirmed bookings attributed to you, you earn a commission calculated as a percentage of Travel.pk's markup on that booking — not a percentage of the whole fare. Your applicable commission rate is shown in your agent dashboard. Commission is credited to your agent wallet in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).

Commission accrues only on bookings sold with a markup. Bookings sold at base rate, or with zero markup, earn no commission.
One commission is credited per qualifying booking.
If a booking is later refunded, cancelled, disputed, or charged back, the associated commission is reversed (clawed back). Where a reversal exceeds your available balance, the shortfall remains payable to us.

Withdrawals and Clearing Window

To protect against refunds, disputes and chargebacks, commission is subject to a clearing window. Commission credited within the last 14 days is held and is not yet withdrawable. Your withdrawable balance is your commission balance minus any amounts still clearing.

You may request a withdrawal of your cleared, withdrawable balance to your nominated account. Withdrawal requests are reviewed before they are processed, and we may withhold or offset amounts to cover pending reversals, clawbacks, or other sums you owe us. The security deposit must remain funded and is not withdrawable while your account is active.

Agent Obligations

As a verified agent, you agree to:

Provide accurate, truthful information for yourself and every customer you book for
Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and airline/supplier conditions
Honour the fares and services you quote to your customers
Not engage in fraud, unauthorised chargebacks, or any abuse of the wallet or commission system
Keep your KYC documents, contact details, and payout information current
Maintain the confidentiality and security of your account credentials

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your agent account, withhold commission, or reverse transactions if you breach this Agreement, provide false information, or if we detect fraud, excessive chargebacks, or misuse of the platform. You may stop using the agent programme at any time.

On termination, outstanding obligations survive: any negative balance, pending clawbacks, or amounts owed to us remain payable, and we may apply your security deposit and wallet balance against them before releasing any remainder.

Relationship and Liability

Travel.pk acts as an intermediary between you and airlines, hotels, and other service providers. You act as an independent business and not as our employee, partner, or legal agent, and you have no authority to bind Travel.pk. You are responsible for your relationship with, and any obligations to, your own customers. Our liability in connection with the agent programme is limited to amounts we have received from you, excluding third-party costs.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from this Agreement or your participation in the agent programme is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
